Michel Dupagne is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Journalism and Communication. He is also a Professor in the Department of Journalism and Media Management at the University of Miami, USA. His research interests include new communication technologies, media economics, and international communication.

Professor Dupagne co-authored High-Definition Television: A Global Perspective and has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in such journals as the Journal of Media Economics, Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, and Telecommunications Policy. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Media Economics and Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly.

He earned a Ph.D. in Mass Communications at Indiana University, an M.S. in Library and Information Studies at Florida State University, and more recently an M.B.A. in Management at the University of Miami.
